Social Betty: How It Works

Follow these easy steps to find your ultimate venue...

1. Once you've created a FREE user account ... Social Betty will guide you through the simple process of posting your event details for venues to view. It's important that you are as accurate as possible with the details, as venues will respond with interest based on the information you provide.
   
   Check out Tips! for suggestions on how to increase the number and quality of venues replying with interest.

2. Once you've posted your event details... venues will express interest by responding with a profile of their establishment. You can then reply with your contact information so that both of you can determine further interest through direct contact outside of Social Betty. It is important that you do additional research on venues that interest you, such as checking out venue Web sites, looking up reviews, and touring their facilities.

3. Once you've received interest from venues, and have completed some research ... select a venue that best fits your event's needs. Although we encourage you to inquire about multiple responses, it is important to make final arrangements with only one venue.
   
   You'll want to make sure to check with venues and confirm if you have done everything necessary to secure your venue of choice. Venues will vary on the process of securing or placing a hold on their establishment, so make sure you communicate clearly what needs to be completed to finalize the process.
   
   Communicate immediately any changes in your agreement (e.g., change in number of attendees, etc.), knowing that some changes in the agreement may void or alter your original agreement with the venue. Some changes may also impact your feedback score as an organizer.
