Venues

1. How do I know if Social Betty will be a good resource for bringing my venue business?

Making contact with organizers and having them choose your establishment to host their event is the goal. Ultimately, venues that are most successful will likely be the ones that are most reputable in their area and who are proactive with their Social Betty subscription. For this reason, individual success will vary. In addition to having an opportunity to bring more groups to their establishment, venues will also benefit from exposure when they are recognized by organizers as they respond to their postings.

2. Being a venue, do I need to purchase a subscription in order to create a Social Betty account?

Yes, please visit pricing for subscription details.

3. Do I need an account in order to reply to event postings?

Yes, please visit pricing for subscription details.

3. I run multiple venues; can I use one subscription for all the venues?

Yes and no. Subscriptions are based geographically. Multiple venues in one geographic area, such as San Diego, can use one account. Venues ran outside of that area, would have to have another subscription in their geographic area.

4. How can I change the monthly term of my subscription?

In order to change the monthly term of your subscription, you will need to cancel your current subscriptions and re-subscribe when your current one ends.

5. Can I require minimums, deposits and contracts from organizers?

Yes; however, venues are competing for each organizer’s business, so inevitably the venues that are the least or non restrictive will likely receive the most interest. Venues must consider their own individual needs for deposits, minimums and contracts, and request them accordingly.
